HenryMakesGlasses is open. It began with disbelief at how expensive and complicated prescription sunglasses could feel, then became an attempt to make the choices bigger, the prices clearer, and the whole process easier to finish.

Can't believe it

Too many people who wear glasses still treat prescription sunglasses as something too expensive, too confusing, or too easy to postpone. Choosing clear vision in bright light should not feel like entering an optical maze.

Figured it out

The store starts with 100 frames organized into three plainly priced collections. Choose a frame, choose its color, then move through the lens options with the total visible instead of waiting for a surprise at the end.

Why not more?

A focused collection does not have to mean a small result. Across the available frames, colors, and eligible lens choices, there are more than 100,000 possible frame-and-lens combinations. The goal is plenty of personal choice without making the path impossible to follow.

Making it happen

An entire collection starts under $100: every frame in the Now collection is $80. The displayed complete-pair price includes eligible prescription lenses and a protective case, with one clear total shown upfront.

Core is $100 and Top is $120, with the same approach to clear totals. Upgrades and prescription eligibility still need to be shown honestly, but the starting offer should never need decoding.

Trying to help others

The store is also developing Glasses for Good, a proposed framework through which community organizations can set a measurable goal, nominate a client, and help that person receive a frame when the milestone is completed.

The store is here. The choices are here. The prices are clear. Get a pair.
