Uploading a prescription is not the end of the ordering process. It gives the optical team the information needed to confirm that the selected frame, lenses, and measurements can work together.

The prescription is checked for completeness

The review looks for the prescribing professional, patient information, issue and expiration details where required, and the values needed for the selected lens type.

If something is missing or difficult to read, clarification should happen before the order moves forward—not after lenses are already in production.

Frame and lens eligibility are confirmed together

Frame dimensions, prescription strength, lens design, and material all affect the final result. A lens option that works well in one frame may not be the best fit in another.

This is why a guided lens flow should only show eligible choices. The goal is a short list of options that can actually be made well.
